Things to look for when choosing your wedding photographer.
There are a number of things to look for when you examine the work of a wedding photographer.
No two wedding photographers are the same, do you want natural wedding pictures, reportage style with a minimum of posing or do you want staged photographs. The sample wedding albums will show you the type of photographer they are.
Look at their website and their portfolio. Do the photographs inspire you? Do the photographs look stunning? Can you say “I want my wedding photographs to be like that”
When visiting a wedding photographer, how many complete wedding albums are you shown? Rather than a collection of good pictures from a selection?
Do the wedding albums tell the story of the whole wedding? Would you feel happy owning your version of the wedding album in front of you?
Does the photographer have a creative edge, an artistic eye, as opposed to one who simply does the same as the majority.
Talk to the photographer, is he someone you can gel with. Is he someone you can trust to do your wedding pictures.
Check the photographer’s qualifications and ask if they were gained the in wedding photography.
